Initially you struggle to work out quite what the Endless Journey is, the only thing you can see is a glass fronted cabinet with a crude delivery note attached. However you remember the lesson of Modern Art; if it looks like rubbish left behind by absent minded bin men, it’s probably modern art, and correctly deduce that it must be the object.
You warily circle the cabinet and study it; cheap wooden box, one internal shelf, two sliding glass doors on the front. Finding no help there you study the note, your first discovery being that it is a stack of notes. Clearly this cabinet has been taken to many places and been rejected by many potential recipients. Confused and bewildered by what you have studied you retire back to consider your verdict.
While the item is not conventionally beautiful, or indeed unconventionally beautiful, perhaps that is the point. After all this is Art, with a capital A, whoever said an item that represents the Indivisibility of Beauty has to be beautiful itself?
