Rather than try and work it out for yourself you call Phil back. After he answers you explain he didn’t actually tell you which pub he meant by ‘The Other One’. There is a pause. The pause grows longer. You belatedly realise this may have been a bad move. - GAME OVER
Your Ending
The pause eventually ends as Phil expresses his disapproval at your failure so early in the interview process. The Bureau has more than enough members who struggle to get to the pub in a timely manner, the absolute last thing it needs is more of them.
Your Achievements or Otherwise
- Not a Bureau Member = 0pts
- You did not fail the formal interview = +2pts
- You managed to fail the pre-interview challenge = -17pts
- Which is an achievement of a sort = +1pt
- Just not a good sort = -2pts
- Emotional State; Shame, disappointment and self loathing = -25pts
Ranking
- Grand Total = -41pts
- Rating = A disappointingly nondescript failure. Much like your Bureau interview in fact, almost as if there is in fact some logic to the scoring system.
- Future Life = Shunned by the Bureau for failing the most trivial of tests you return to your life of bagpipes and bassoons. Somewhat fortunately this life remains as fun and fulfilling as ever despite your failure at the Bureau interview. That is your crime, it is also your punishment.
