Though you try and flee the creature knows the Valley of the Mullets far better than you, though you make a valiant last stand in the vast burial complex marked out for Pat Sharp the end is inevitable. Eventually in the sub-tombs designated for the Pat Sharp Twins you are cornered, devoured and duly cursed to a lifetime in the Sumerian nether-hell.

- Rating = While you failed you also died so most of the shame of your failure to outwit the Lamassu is wiped from the slate. Most but not all, hence the score.
- Future Life = Dead. Surprisingly it gets worse as you soon discover. The problem appears to be that the Sumerian snake goddess Ninhursag took a pay-day loan out from the Hindu god of wealth Kubera a few millenia back when she was having trouble making ends meet after the collapse of the Sumerian civilisation. Alas she soon fell behind in her payments and was duly killed by one of Kubera’s many mystic mongooses. All this leaves you as a damned soul with nowhere to go and, while the administrators are hopeful of salvaging something from the wreckage, they have been hopeful about that since the rise of the Parthian Empire so the other damned souls tell you not to hold your breath.
