ISCWSC

The Inter-Simian Complete Works of Shakespeare Challenge

The ISCWSC is perhaps one of the world’s finest spectator events, regularly attracting crowds into the several.

Objective

To establish which species can produce the Complete Works of Shakespeare in the fastest possible time.

Method

Elite teams of simians from all competing simian species are gathered together, given large numbers of typewriters then left to produce the works. The output is judged by an independent adjudicator, normally but not always a senior Pastafarian in a fez.

Prize

The winning species is given vast quantities of dodgy purple padded jackets and can promote several of their number to the ranks of evil overlord. The losing species are forced to work in fields for no obvious reason doing no useful work, but being beaten should they fail to meet arbitrary targets.

Past Winners

The most successful simian in the history of the competition remains CMOS, the BIOS monkey. Sadly due to being repeatedly thrown against walls (in an admittedly amusing fashion) his typing powers had waned considerably in several years.
