Health Policy

Health Policy

Health is a surprisingly contentious area of Bureau policy. While the policy itself is clear, responsibility for it’s implementation is less clear.

Policy Statement

The Stav Bureau approach to illness can be summed up as;

Policy Rational

The aim of this uncompromising policy is to free up valuable medical time and hospital space, this will be achieved by clearing out patients who aren’t making sufficient effort to get healthy with those who will. It is anticipated the fate of the former will aid significantly in correctly motivating the latter.

Policy Implementation

It is, at present, somewhat unclear which Ministry will be responsible for the implementation of this revolutionary policy. While the Minister for Security claims this is clearly a security issue this view point has not been accepted by the Bureau At Large. The counter position is that a new ministry may be needed, though obviously it would not be called the Ministry for Health as that would be too simple and far too re-assuring, the current favourite is Ministry for Mortality Adjustment. It is likely the matter will have to be formally brought before the Bureau and the matter voted upon.
